CHLAX is reusable ice for your esky and your drinks. Each cube is BPA-free plastic filled with purified water. Freeze them, use them, freeze them again. No servo runs for bagged ice, and no melt water sloshing around the bottom of your esky.

Up to 48 hours, depending on your esky’s quality, how full it is, and the conditions. A good esky in the shade will go the distance. A cheap one baking on the ute tray at 2pm in January? We’ll do our best, but have a word with yourself.

Yes. The cubes are food-safe and never melt, so they chill your drink without watering it down. Beer, wine, whisky, juice, water: it all stays full-strength.

Spread the cubes on a tray and they’ll freeze in 8 hours. Leave them in the bag and a complete freeze can take up to 48 hours, because they’re all huddled together in there.

• Fast: Tip onto a tray, freeze 8 hrs.
• Lazy: Freeze in the bag, up to 48 hrs. No judgement.

No, your CHLAX ships at room temperature, so give it a full freeze before your first trip.

• 2kg Bag, Regular 2.5cm cubes: small eskies and lunch boxes.
• 5kg Bag, Regular 2.5cm cubes: medium to large eskies.
• 5kg Bag, Big Block 4.8cm cubes: all esky sizes, built for longer-lasting cooling.

Regular 2.5cm cubes pack in tight around drinks and food. Big Block 4.8cm cubes are larger, so they hold their cold longer, which makes them the pick for longer trips. Plenty of people run a mix of both.

Yes. The cubes are sealed and food-safe, so they can sit right alongside your food. If they’ve been in contact with raw meat, give them a good rinse before they go back in the freezer.
